In fact, taking part in any sporting or modelling activities can benefit the well-being of children and young people in many ways. However, while participating in these activities, there is a need to ensure your child’s safety and wellbeing are protected.

In the UK, any person working with or is involved substantial contact with children and young people under the age of 18 years of age, or other vulnerable members of society is required, to be verified for relevant criminal convictions. This is called a CRB Checked (The Criminal Records Bureau). As a result of working for over 20 years for theatre schools, I had to have this check, and as a result, I have maintained it. Furthermore, I’ve undergone safeguarding training and have attained Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (QCF).
